The three amigos!

Last week I had an A and P exam. I thought I was going to ace it and ended up with an 87%. Not bad, but wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Short shorts and revealing tops: you are looking pretty good right about now.

Wednesday evening after Ag Ambassadors (AA) Stephanie, Jen, Matt and I meet up for some beach volleyball. It was all fun and games till the fire alarm went off at the dorm we were playing outside of. So Jen and Stephanie left and Matt and I played football.

Saturday NICOLE CAME TO VISIT! We went hiking at Horsetooth for about two hours. We got caught up on old times and it was great to see her, it had been way too long! And for the bad news: I got my first parking ticket. I to be honest neither Nicole or myself understand just where you are supposed to park then to hike where we did. Apparently you have to have a parking permit to park there, confusion:/

This past week my life was dedicated to Jen, seriously! I worked the Little National Western (LNW) registration table in the lobby of Animal Sciences Monday to Thursday 9-11, Friday 1-3. Things are starting to come around for the show. If anyone is interested in sponsorship or donating 90 pounds of hamburger for our dinner let me know! Along with this I had three exams: Reproduction, Statistics, Range Management and an Anatomy and Physiology quiz. My AFA application was due, so pray for me that I am chose to go back to Kansas City. Friday Jen and I went out for Thai food at Sri Thai. It was Jen's first time eating Thai and curry, but she liked it. Who would have thought that a plain, narrow minded Ohio girl would be exposing someone to Thai food. We then got ice cream and watched a movie. It was a nice relaxing day after the week that both of us had had. Saturday we got together again and walked around City Park, laid out and got some sun on the last day of summer and played a little volleyball. Jen decided she wanted to be introduced to the world of waxing! haha :) So I waxed her toes, and belly button then she let me pluck her eyebrows that had never been done before. I don't think she will ever let me do it again. Trust me wax before tweezing, it hurts a lot less. I have come to the conclusiong that Jen is my new Colorado Emma. Gotta love my girls!

A short note on work: DON'T GO TO WYOMING: flying ants will crawl down your shirt and pants. Zack, Tyler and I went up to doctor cows and fill mineral tubs. Apparently there was ants in the mineral bags that once we emptied and put the bags in the truck were upset and attacked Zack and me. The whole way home we were killing them, almost an hour! And let me tell you it isn't fun having ants down your shirt and pants when riding with two guys-not much you can do about it:/

This coming week is much more relaxed and smooth than last week. I only have two meetings and NO tests. However, two quizzes on Friday are in my glass ball! I have a few things I need to get done for LNW: sponsorship calls and donations. I guess I should also get my oil changed since I am almost 200 miles over! Whoops! And I need to write my Career Fair Article for the AA newsletter for the College of Ag.

... for thinking you failed your A & P test - you did GREAT! I am proud of you. I am so glad that you are happy in Colorado, it sounds like a great place to live and work - well except for the ant in the pants - I would have literally gone crazy.
I love you, MOM
