Back in the saddle baby:)

So the first week of classes are over and guess what I SURVIVED! I am sure you know that I would have any ways. My schedule looks like Range Management, Anatomy and Physiology, Reproduction, Technology in Agriculture and Statistics.

This week one of my good friends and I got together and caught up on each others lives. He made me dinner- duck! It was pretty good. We had teriyaki duck, peppers and onions with garlic. We also had caramelized carrots, well I guess it was really homemade honey. First off I don't eat peppers or cooked carrots, but I decided to be a good guest and I actually liked it.

Well I start work tomorrow. We are bringing calves back from Wyoming and preg-checking cows. It should be a fun, LONG day! I have also found out that I will be the only girl working out at ARDEC this year. We will be having about 8-9 kids work out there, all returning from last year.

Well I am looking forward to an event packed semester/year!

Home Sweet Home

Well I have made the journey back to Colorado. Mom and I left last Sunday morning around 7:20. We were able to see the St. Louis Arch on our drive and eventually stopped for the night in Salina, Kansas. Monday we got up and got on the rode and drove another eight hours. We unpacked my truck, got a bed and settled in for the night. Tuesday we got groceries, things for my room, etc. Wednesday we got up early and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park for the day. I had an Ag Ambassadors meeting that evening for Ram Camp. Thursday was a work day for Ram Camp and mom went down to Denver to the Art Museum and 16th Street Mall. Friday, I had duties to do for Ram Welcome and Ram Camp. I took mom down to DIA that evening and barely made it back home I was so tired. Saturday I got up early and headed up to campus for a long day of Ram Camp. I got home around 10 and crawled into bed.

Sweet Summer Time!

Where oh where to start....
Well dad flew into DIA on May 9th, we left for Ohio on the 11th and arrived home on the 12th. It was nice because the whole family was home for Mother's Day weekend. Carrie surprised mom by flying home and Matt came up from Columbus. I began working on Tuesday and got a Southdown and a cross bred market lamb on Wednesday. Dad and I went up to the cabin for a long weekend during Memorial Day Weekend.

June: I think Becky's shower was the 2nd. I think then we had a rehersal dinner on Friday and then the big day on Saturday! July: Matt, dad and I went up to the cabin for the Fourth of July for a long weekend. We worked on the cabin getting it cleaned and fixing up the outside. On the 30th I headed down to state fair.

August: We stayed down at state fair till the 2nd. I worked a few more days the following week. My friends threw me a going away party. This summer I also attended the Ottawa County Fair and saw Jason Michele Carol and Eric Church, then I went to Seneca County Fair, Lucas County Fair, State Fair and Wood County Fair where I saw Tracy Lawrence and Josh Turner.

This summer was very exciting a lot of new first and memories made. Sorry there isn't more details I was a slacker and didn't write them down this summer. But I will keep you all updated as school begins and all the happenings in the west!
