Okay so it has been two weeks and I apologize to all of you have been "out of the loop!" The Rockies have been good to me and busy!
Lets see I had a Chemistry Lab presentation: 100% on the 16th, a Math test on the 17th: 100% and I worked that weekend. We separated the cow/calf pairs then vaccinated, de-horned, and castrated the calves. We would have branded them, but we didn't have the brand. I got kicked about a million times by this stupid little heifer that of course was the last calf we processed. I thought it broke my thumb at first, but no worries we are "golden" like a retriever! Then we had lunch from the meat lab and just chilled out the rest of the afternoon.
This past week: I had a Chemistry test and Cattle Evaluation on Monday: 84% and 90% respectively. I went and talked with a girl about her condo, which let me tell you is REALLY nice. Wednesday: I had a lecture test in Live and Dead, yes that is number two in that class this week! Along with an Economics Exam: 76% on both, not so bueno:( Thursday: my Math projects were due (2) and finally Friday: Spring Branding Banquet. It was so nice on Friday that Nicole and I laid out and caught some rays! I worked on Saturday, we separated cow/calf pairs and AI'ed the cows that were in heat. We did two rounds: one in the morning and one that evening. Sunday: relaxation and homework! This weekend couldn't have been nicer! I love it!
This coming week: Live and Dead Cattle test Monday, Ag Ambassador tour for FFA kids at 1. No Chemistry lab. April showers bring MAY flowers! No Live and Dead the rest of the week. Wednesday last Ag Ambassador meeting.
Finals week: Monday: Health: 1:30-3:30, Math: 5:50-7:50, Chemistry: 8:00-10:00PM! Work probably all day Tuesday and Wednesday. Pick dad up at DIA Wednesday evening and hang out with him the rest of the week. Then I will be back in Ohio for the summer till probably the second or third week in August.
Baby blue was the color of the Colorado skies!

Back to the real world in three weeks:(
Okay so as far as the last post goes....Nicole feels that she needs to tell me these things on almost a daily basis and a didn't have a good post to input so I decided it would be slightly funny to type that. That is where all that stemmed from. Don't worry I am not MAN crazy, I am simply taking life as it comes!
Anyways this will be a mass update and a look forward.
Easter weekend: I stayed here and worked all weekend. I went to church at this little Lutheran church just off Prospect, it reminded me of Sacred Heart in Fremont. It was very modern. It was a reality check, a sense of serenity and peacefulness. As I looked out the stained glass windows the snow flakes couldn't have been bigger or coming down more precious. As far as work goes I worked with one of the Zack's on Saturday and by myself on Sunday. 11 more heifers to go, yes!
This past week: Two tests: Economics and Human Health and Disease. I was more than pleased with Health, I got the highest grade I have gotten all semester and that raised my grade, a lot! I got the flu Tuesday night and didn't feel good till Saturday. Left work early because of being sick and didn't go in on Thursday because I was so sick. Nicole left on Thursday afternoon. I decided that I needed to go to the mountains one LAST time on Saturday:( I wanted to ski all the black and double blacks I could and try out my new helmet! No I didn't run into any trees or otherwise. I skiing with this 40 something old man all day and it was great. We skied Too Much, which let me tell you lives up to its name: a mile of moguls-talk about burning thighs, the Enchanted Forest and Jacque's Pique just to name a few trails and the Alpine, Sierra, Timberline, Super Bee lifts. Check it out at http://www.coppercolorado.com/mountain/trail_map/index.htm.

Anyways the day was great, blue sky's, not a cloud in sight, over two feet of new snow in the past week, TONS of great skiing and the quickest drive I have ever had, 2 HOURS!
Sunday: I registered for classes for FALL 2007: A and P-Anatomy and Physiology, Range Management, Technology in Agriculture, Statistics and hopefully getting an override in Reproduction. Finished homework and Chemistry presentation for tomorrow. Math review session at 6, otherwise just relaxing and enjoying the great 70 degree weather! (Don't you wish you were me?!)
This week: Chemistry presentation-Monday, Math Exam-Tuesday, Ag Banquet-Friday, probably work the weekend.
The following week: AG WEEK! Monday: Chemistry exam, cattle evaluation, Wednesday: Live and Dead exam, possibly attending Jane Goodall-yes the chimp lady, Thursday: Math project due, Friday: Ag Day, Spring Branding banquet for judging.
First week in May/last week of classes: Live and Dead exam.
Final exams: Monday: Health, Math, Chemistry all add up to 1:30-3:30, 5:50-7:50, 8-10 PM, Ag Ambassador BBQ-which I can't attend because of stupid Chemistry final. Tuesday: Handling final?? Wednesday: Live and Dead final??? DAD FLY OUT: be here at 6 pm! Thursday: Economics Final?? Sunday: MOTHER'S DAY!
Key: ???= not sure if I am taking the optional final or if there is one or at what time.
These next few weeks especially the last week in April may just be the death of me. On top of all these "deadlines" I have meetings, homework, work and life.

Sometimes I stop to think, and forget to start again!
So apparently there is a list of reasons as to why I don't have boyfriend out here in Colorado.
1. I am a brunette.
2. I am ugly (i.e., therefore, I need to wear makeup).
3. I have been telling bad stories.
4. I am from Ohio.
5. I can't type.
6. I twirl and eat my hair.
7. I eat things in pieces and parts and pick the insides out.
8. I take too many naps, therefore, I have no time for a boyfriend.
9. I smell like cattle fecal matter.
10. And the final and biggest reason is... I AM STUBBORN!

Some upsetting news :(
Well I forgot to inform all of you that the other week I passed out cold in the shower! I was feeling as if I was going to pass out or throw up so I decided I would rinse the conditioner out of my hair and forget the rest. Well needless to say I didn't make it that far...I blacked out and then I started screaming, "NO NO NO,!" I tried to turn the water off but I couldn't see obviously! So I guess I finally got it off but I feel down and into the next shower which had another girl in it, and another girl was across from me. They both stopped to see if I was alright and if I needed anything. All I asked for was my towel since I was naked and laying on the floor and no shower curtain around me, because I almost ripped it off! So I finally got up and went and laid down in my bed for a bit, then I got ready for class and finished or rather started my day.
Nicole and I went skiing this past weekend at Copper Mountain, of which may be our last time this season, tear tear! We may go this coming weekend, it just all depends on the weather. We had a great time, lots of laughs, memories, sun and great runs!
Okay so finally, I know that I am a RAM and I couldn't be prouder/happier, however, I still bleed RED! So what happened with the bucks tonight? I seriously am about in tears, they needed this one, revenge, its their turn for heaven sakes! Nice job Oden, holy crap I can't believe you are only 19, you look 30! And if you can't shot from the outside, then why do it? I guess I just can't wait till Diebler hits that court next year, then we will see what happens! Everyone is crying because it is the same two teams for football and basketball, get over it, obviously they were the best!
Anyway I guess this is enough of my ranting and raving. Looking forward to better news!
