I arrived back in Fort Collins on Monday night. My friend Luke picked me up and I spent the night at his house. I drove to Fort Collins early Tuesday morning for judging practice. I spent 2- 2 1/2 hours at practice by myself, yes that was unfortunate. However, I then got coffee at Deja Vu. I ate lunch, went to the library to catch up on some internet things, since access was limited while I was in Ohio. I worked on my FFA books for my American degree. I then went and worked out at the Rec center and took a shower. I finally went to Motel 6 and spent the next two nights there. I had practice all day Wednesday and learned how to judge hand spinning. Thursday we drove down to Brighton to Adams County fair and judged a rail of 50 fleeces! I finally was able to move back into my dorm room. I did some laundry, unpacked, ate supper and went over to Mandy's dorm to do some extra practice for Friday. I came back and packed up for the weekend. Friday morning we left at 6 am to head down to Denver to judge at the National Western Stock Show. We judged and went out to supper at Famous Dave's BBQ. Saturday arrived and we went to stock show after breakfast at Panera Bread. We walked around the yards, of which it was like 0 degrees outside, no joke! Then we wondered around inside and went to as Travis says, shake babies and kiss hands. We headed back to the ghetto hotel get ready for the banquet. We arrived at the Double Tree around 5:15. The banquet went well and at the end of this post there will be results. We went back to the hotel and I chilled out for the rest of the night. We woke up on Sunday and went to IHOP. I was so excited to go there, I have never been there before and it reminds me of I am Sam, a great movie,"It's a wonderful choice!" After taking two hours to get up to Fort Collins, I made it once again back to my dorm. To recap since Monday I have been in five different beds! It has been snowing all day and I could not be happier about that. I unpacked and just chilled for the rest of the night.
I placed 5th overall in the Hand Spinning contest
CSU Gold-3rd place overall-four individuals in top 10 placings
CSU Green- 9th place overall-top reasons individual
It was not what we were hoping for but it was a descent day I guess. We have room for improvement and looking forward to Houston Stock Show in March.
I am excited to see Nicole tomorrow, her and Preston are coming up around 11 and we are going to go and catch a flick! I have not seen her in over a month! What to do without my goosh! I look forward to getting back into a schedule however, work is going to be EXTREMELY COLD for the next few months. Oh well I guess it is money that I need to make to pay for college.
Wow this was a mass update from the past week!
LET IT KEEP SNOWING!

Anna, I love your new blog! Now I can read it and keep up to date with your busy schedule without asking you a million questions on IM! :-) I'm so proud of you and what you're doing in school at CSU and life in Fort Collins. I love you!
Anna this blog is so cool. I love your picture. After sleeping in 5 different beds in as many nights, I bet your dorm bunk feels so soft and warm and is the most comfortable bed in the world.
I love you, MOM
